Shireen is a NZ and Aust Reg Psychologist.

Shireen has been conducting learning assessments for over 16 years. Shireen is able to undertake comprehensive assessments for children, teenagers, and adults including cognitive functioning (IQ testing) learning disorders, academic assessments, gifted assessments including twice exceptional (2e) children, dyslexia, dyscalculia (maths), ADHD, adaptive assessments and more.
Shireen is an assessor for those who may require Special Assessment Conditions for exams e.g., NCEA. Shireen has worked in behavioural management, counselling of emotional issues (e.g., anxiety and depression), working with disabilities, exceptional children, pre-schoolers, and teenagers for 16 years, more recently specialising in supporting parents with
children in the 3-8 years age group.
Shireen has studied Health Psychology at the medical school in Auckland as well as Educational Psychology in Australia at the postgraduate level and has interests in exploring the connection between emotional wellbeing, health and learning. Shireen teaches coping techniques and emotional wellbeing to children, adolescents and their parents, amongst other things.
Shireen has worked as an Educational Psychologist for the Department of Education and Training in Australia, and as a Psychologist for the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health in NZ.
