Keep calm and survive the holidays

Keep calm and survive the holidays

The symptoms of ADHD don’t take a holiday…

When you have a child, children or students with ADHD, school holidays can seem like a daunting prospect. So how can you make the holidays easier for yourselves and enjoyable for everyone?

This course is facilitated by Tracey Rountree (Mrs ADHD), a veteran of the ADHD community and one of the most informed minds on the topic. Tracey will provide attendees with personal tips and strategies on how to help reduce the pre-holiday stress. She says you can’t always predict what will happen on a day to day basis. But you can prepare for common issues and create a plan to get through the remainder of 2020 (what a year it has been!) and prepare for a new start in 2021.

.You will have the opportunity to ask questions after the presentation (approx. 15 mins). This webinar will bring immense value, not only to parents but also teachers, RTLBs and Learning Support Facilitators, anyone with an interest in ADHD.

Tracey will cover:

  • A reminder of the characteristics and effects of ADHD
  • Adjusting our perspective
  • It’s not just them – what we need to do
  • Family dynamics
  • Routines and rules to help streamline the chaos
  • Adopting and maintaining the mentality
  • Boredom busting ideas
  • Facing reality again – preparing for school in 2021
